Abstract

History has shown that most wars fought on this earth do not take into account any regulation or law and principle, but through these wars the universe is made a place of temptation and violence and the human beings of competing nations and countries are brutally destroyed.. This honor belongs only to Islam, which has set clear objectives of war and jihad and has established its etiquette and principles and has declared unjustified killing and bloodshed a serious crime. No Muslim individual or Islamic government has the right to amend these basic principles. Islamic law is universal and permanent. This article explains how Islam clarifies the limits of war in the light of the Qur'an and Sunnah.
