ENVIRONMENTAL POLLUTION AND OUR RESPONSIBLITIES IN THE LIGHT OF SEERAH

Abstract

Islam gives the complete code of life. It is the guarantor of man's religious and otherworldly welfare and spiritual and physical health and wellbeing. Allah Almighty and His Messenger Muhammad (SAW) have given man a complete and comprehensive education to maintain and protect his health. The importance of a clean and healthy environment for human physical health and better development cannot be denied. Allah Almighty has created this universe with a special balance. This balance is both the beauty of the universe and the guarantor of its survival. Islam recognizes the equal right of all human beings in the world to natural resources. In the same way, the right of future generations to these natural resources must be protected. The teachings of Islam regarding environmental protection should be kept in mind so that the world does not face environmental problems and the balance of the universe is not disturbed. We have to fulfill our responsibilities in the light of the teachings of the Holy Prophet (SAW). This article throws light on the teachings Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and our responsibilities regarding the environmental problems and their solutions.
