TERRORISM IS A VALID WORD BUT ITS IMPLEMENTATION IS INVALID

Abstract

The subject 'Terrorism and the link with Islam and Muslims' dominates the world of current affairs in today's era. It has been summarized in many discussions that Muslims are terrorists and Islam teaches them terrorism. But in fact Islam is the religion of peace and love. People are unaware of literal meaning of terrorism and the views of Islam about it. Islam is the only religion that protects the humanity, its basic rights and prohibits the killing of innocent people. This contemplation is necessary for those people who attribute terrorism to Islam and Muslims, that Islam has no relation with terrorism. Islam teaches its followers that a women entered hell due to a cat, and a prostitute entered paradise due to a thirsty dog. If Islam even care about the rights of animals, how is it possible that it does not care about the rights of humans. In this paper we tried to define terrorism, some historical facts, and the position of Islam about terrorism.
