Acquiring knowledge of Quranic terminology is key to understanding the Quran, much like understanding the architectural terms is essential for building a structure."Mohsanat" is an important Quranic term used in various contexts in the Quran. It encompasses the idea of safeguarding and protecting. Allah has bestowed the title of "Mohsanat" on noble women in the Quran, those who protect their modesty and honor. If they are unmarried, their family provides protection, ensuring their honor and modesty. If they are married, they enjoy even greater protection because they are part of two families, ensuring their further security. Allah has granted a high status and honor to believing women by calling them "Mohsanat." This Quranic term, along with its linguistic connotations, makes it clear that marriage preserves a woman's honor and modesty.
