Abstract
Islam provides comprehensive guidance for every aspect of human life, including adornment and beautification. The Shariah permits women to adopt adornment according to natural needs and, in certain situations, even considers it a recommended practice. However, this permission is conditioned by moderation, established limits, and the requirements of Islamic law.In the modern era, the use of makeup, cosmetic surgery, and other artificial means of beautification has increased significantly, yet most people are unaware of their Islamic rulings. The growing trend of cosmetic procedures among both men and women for fashion and artificial beautification has given rise to various new jurisprudential issues. Addressing these requires not only the guidance of the Qur’an and Sunnah but also the opinions of jurists and contemporary scholarly research. This study presents an analytical examination of modern methods of beautification, the limits of their use, and the Islamic rulings associated with them, with the aim of providing guidance to society in accordance with Islamic principles.
