Abstract
Dr. Ismail Raaji Farooqi was an eminent research Scholar of Muslim world. He was born in Palestine, completed his graduation in American University Beirut. He worked as a Governor of Guleli in Palestine till the Israeli occupation. Later he migrated to Jordan and then moved to USA and completed masters from there and worked for PhD on the Philosophy of Kant. During his doctoral work he converted to an enthusiastic Arab national and started promoting Arab nationalism. He returned to Egypt to learn about the teachings of Islam in Al-Azhar University. Meanwhile his full bright scholarship was approved in Canada and he went back to Canada to complete his second PhD on the topic of Juda' ed Christianity. But after this PhD he turned towards the learning of Islam more actively. He started working day and night for the establishment of Knowledge base for the unity, prosper and advancement of Muslim Ummah. He also opposed the Israeli occupation of Palestine openly and debated for the right of Palestinians. He wanted to formulize a think tank for Muslims and a parallel educational system for the Muslim research scholars which would bring them closer to the Core of Muslim Ummah. In addition to that he was also an advocate of Unity among the different religions. He was working for the sake of pleasing Allah (S.W.T). His efforts were not accepted by the eternal enemies of Muslim Ummah and he got martyred along with his wife in his home while his daughter was severely wounded.
